/ 01About
A home for the craft, and for the people who chase it.
JAB Productions is the professional hub of Joseph Batzel and his team: bridging decades of entertainment industry expertise, academic leadership, creative coaching, and literary artistry.
The work here takes three forms. Professional coaching helps actors grow across stage, film, and voice-over. Original short film projects and screenplays move from page to production. And teaching, at Utah State University and beyond, keeps the craft rooted in both academic rigor and real-world industry insight.
What ties it together is a conviction: this industry needs mentors, not gatekeepers. Joseph has spent over forty years as an actor, director, producer, and consultant, and JAB Productions exists to pass that experience on, positioning emerging talent for success in major markets.
Beyond the performing arts, Joseph is an award-winning poet whose love of language and narrative depth runs through every coaching session, screenplay, and classroom.
"Professionalism, warmth, artistic depth, and the belief that every dream deserves a dreammaker."
